This course is the SITOH002A unit of competency from the National Training Package SIT07.
Upon the successful completion of this course a statement of attainment will be awarded to the candidate.
The award will be sent to the candidate via Australia Post.
This course is already mandatory for food handlers in Victoria and will be mandatory in NSW from the beginning of 2010.
The course is distributed on CD as the video content is too large for download.
The course is assessed progressively as you complete each unit.
You must score 100% in each assessment but you can keep repeating the assessments until you do score 100%.
You must be connected to the internet for your results to recorded and assessed.

- Basic hygiene principals
- Personal hygiene
- Cleaning food areas
- Pest control
- Assessing hazards
- Food storage
- Different food sectors
Computer requirements for this course are:
- Pentium 4 PC or better
- CD drive
- Any grade of internet connection.
